About Park Hills, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in St. Francois County, Park Hills is a Missouri city with about 8,800 residents. This community was formed in 1994 after a four-way merger that included Rivermines, Esther, Elvins, and Flat River. From this union, Park Hills was born, and the city can be found in Missouri’s Old Lead Belt. Park Hills is home to the local Mineral Area College, which was previously called Flat River Junior College. Public education is administered by the Central R-III School District, and Park Hills is also home to the Park Hills Public Library.

There are many interesting places to visit in Park Hills. St. Joe State Park is one of two off-road vehicle parks in the Missouri state system, and in addition to 2,000 acres of off-road vehicle trails, there are also four lakes, two swimming beaches, and two campgrounds. Outdoor recreation can also be enjoyed at Columbia Park, the Park Hill Sports Complex, and the Park Hills Public Pool. The Missouri Mines State Historic Site is a great place to learn more about the state’s mining history, and after a long day of exploring, visitors might like to grab a bite at The Old Mine House Bar and Grill or The Factory Diner Park Hills.

To stay comfortable in Park Hills throughout the year, residents need to invest in the right climate controls. Winter temperatures here are chilly and average in the 40s. Overnight lows often fall well below this point, and freezing temperatures are not out of the question, so residents need appropriate heating systems at home. The right gas or electric furnace should offer cost-saving features for Park Hills homeowners, including variable-speed blowers, zoned heating, and air filtration.

Summertime weather is markedly different from winter conditions. Temperatures are hot and often in the 90s, and humidity levels are high. A central air conditioner with a high SEER rating will help homeowners to stay cool and comfortable while saving on utility costs.
